Great kit but…

Excellent kit but you need to know a couple of things. The good: The
body finish and color are off the charts good! Vivid gold metallic is
stunning (and I’m not a gold guy) could not be happier with the finish. I
cannot speak to any of the other parts of the kit as I didn’t use any
of the other parts. I used an aftermarket neck built to American specs.
NOTE: this kit is not routed for American specs necks. The neck pocket
is wider and will need to be shimmed on the sides to fit properly. I
cannot speak to the fit of the LJ neck it comes with. Sorry. I also used
a different pickguard and most of the holes lined up but I had to dowl 3
holes and redrill. (Not a big deal). I also used a PRs style six screw
Trem that fit perfectly and added my own Jo put Jack in black along with
my own neck plate. I also used my own electronics. Overall im Rey
pleased with the results. The body alone is well worth the price of the
kit. You cannot get a finished body for this price anywhere else. Get
yourself one! Dear Leo Jaymz. PLEASE OFFER THESE BODIES separately and
in more colors! And PLEASE make your neck pocket dimensions the same as
the American necks.
